  • More points of failure

  • Makes use of existing infrustructure
  • Unlicensed
  • Fairly Reliable

 Cons:

  • Lower bandwidth especially with dsl
  • Subject to interference(can cause latency,lag spikes or reduced speeds)
  • Subject to electrical storm damage
  • More points of failure

 Pros:

  • Large capacity
  • Extremely reliable
  • Future upgrades simpler
  • Not subject to interference
  • Low latency(excellent for gaming)
  • Futureproof, should be viable solution for at least the next 50 years.
  • Able to do more online services like on demand TV.
  • Nothing beats fiber to the home.  Fiber is the source for all internet connectivity

 Cons:

  • Labor intensive installation which equals high cost to install intitially

FIBER

  • Able to Reach any area in the United States

 Cons:

  • Has data Limits
  • Weather or dense clouds will discrupt service
  • Cannot play live action games like on gaming consoles or pc
  • Internet feels sluggish no matter what speed plan as the satellites for broadband currently are 22000 miles from earth.
